The Girl in the Rain is the first part of a two-part serial
I loved this book. I need part 2 ASAP!
What a story I was hooked from the start and could not put it down until I turned the last page.
Paige Wilson Looks after her brother after a decision she made which she thought was the right one went wrong.
Her brother Ryan ends up in a wheelchair and she is looking after him, she does everything for him she has no life of her own because her brother lays the guilt on her and she believes it is all her fault and that she has to help him. I really like Paige I really felt for her. Then just when I thought things were looking up for her, BAM!!! an OMG moment happens and it blows what I thought out of the window.
Ryan well I am not 100% sure about I wasn’t sure how to take him one minute he was dark and brooding and scary towards Paige then he was all nice. I understand why he is mad at things but to blame his sister is wrong.
So much happens in this book! I have so many questions I cannot wait for book 2.

This book is very well written and I do love the authors writing.

The Girl in the Rain is book 1 of a 2 part series by L.G Davis
Paige Wilson is a math teacher, beloved friend and sister to Ryan, or should I say emotional punching bag to Ryan.
Ridden with guilt for her brother’s current situation, Paige takes everything that Ryan dishes out but everyone has a breaking point…
This book was an emotional roller coaster. You absolutely hate Ryan for the manipulative monster that he is. You feel sorry for Paige because she seems stuck in her own guilt but when things start to happen, you begin to question everything.
I, for one can’t wait for the second part of this novel. Obviously, there is a cliffhanger ending but what a cliff it is. ~impatiently waiting.

Paige Wilson is drowning in regrets and guilt. Her brother Ryan blames her for his bad choices and the pay back that put him in a wheelchair. He’s sworn to make her life miserable and he’s true to his word. Terrorizing phone calls, accidents and damages keep her stress level skyhigh. Finally Paige has had enough and stands up for herself.
She starts living her life and walks away from the abuse; but it won’t stop. Not that easily.
Just when she thought her life was coming together it completely implodes. It’s worse than before and Paige is terrified for her life.
I can’t wait for book 2!!!!! This author grabs your attention and doesn’t let go!

They say beauty is only skin deep but everything from the gorgeous cover to the last word in the book is wonderful! I loved the depth of the story, the complexity of the characters and I’ll admit the dark moments and the edge of your seat suspense. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a book you can’t put down- can’t wait to see how the story ends in the next book ❤
