My five-star review for this great read.
He began kissing her while the elevator took them up, the soft, gentle exploratory kind she loved, which left no part of her upper body untouched. His mouth took in her lips and traveled down to her neck then back to her lips for brief kisses and playful tugs on her lower lip. Those kisses were her undoing because they made her feel as if he actually loved and cared for her. She responded in kind, loving him with her mouth, her hands, and her body, pressing into him so he could feel her heat. In no time, Daphne was coming apart again. She was impatient for him now, but she knew from their first encounter, there was no hurrying him. He would do this in his own time. She just prayed she would be able to last until then.
Daphne’s love life has hit the skids and needing an escape to examine her life and take a brief vacation from reality, she finds herself drawn to Martinique—an island in the Caribbean known for its fine French products and beautiful scenery. She finds all that and more, including a handsome Creole man named Wolfe.
She “meets” Wolfe on her first visit to a secluded and private beach where he goes daily for a morning swim. So taken by his dashing good looks, she finds herself thinking about him night and day. He catches the fever as well and can’t seem to get her off his mind.
These two share an instant connection and find they don’t want to be without the other. Her time on the island is limited, and they want to spend as much time together as possible before her inevitable return to the States.
An offer is made and refused causing her to shorten her trip and return home.
Life on the island is much different than the life Daphne lives in Connecticut. Is this going to cause conflict with the two young lovers since she’s not an islander? Or will they be able to make a go of it? You’ll have to read for yourself to see if they get their happily ever after.
This book is full of sexual situations and passion making it a great read for MATURE readers, 18+. I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I did.

Gabby Morgan isn’t looking for love. Not even a little romance. Following a rocky past that she’d just as soon forget, she’s determined to focus on the future. One that most certainly doesn’t involve the tough-as-nails, short-on-words, hot-as-hell biker…or his kid.
Blake Mahone may not be done with women, but he’s finished with relationships. Then Gabby Morgan enters the picture. She’s flawless, refined, and as his kid’s teacher, way out of his league. She acts like she hates him, but her eyes tell a different story. Before he knows it, Blake finds himself hot for teacher, and he’s more than ready to learn all her secrets. Now all he has to do is convince her to give him a shot…without getting them both killed in the process.

This book is written in Lacey Silks’ special brand of mystery and intrigue meets romance and sex. I never want her books to end, and I felt the same way about this one.
This is Hunter and Grace’s story.
There was a strong attraction between the two the minute they met. Hunter is a former Navy SEAL employed by Cross Enterprises. Grace is Emma Cross’s best friend. These two carry ample baggage from their former lives that could be the undoing to any potential relationship between them.
Hunter had been working undercover when he shows up at Grace’s salon looking like he hadn’t bathed or combed his hair in quite some time. When she discovers the Hunter beneath all the grime and tangle of hair, the sparks really ignite.
As the story unfolds, you’ll learn about Grace’s dysfunctional family and why Hunter needs to protect her from them. Without giving anything away, I just want to say this book is an incredible story that keeps us connected in some way to Cross Enterprises we’ve read about and love in her other collection.
This is a must-read for any Lacey Silks fan or a first-time reader of her works. I loved it, and I think you will, too.
Iraq veteran and motorcycle shop owner Jeremiah “Dog” Sheppard is looking forward to the annual Veterans Ride benefit for local vets, but this year he might be rewarded with more than the usual satisfaction of doing a good deed. When he asks the stunning single mother of one of his employees to help with the charity event, he finds himself facing a greater challenge than expected.
Nothing terrifies Samantha Powell more than starting over, but after devoting three decades to a troubled man and an unhappy marriage, Sam finds the courage to seek her own happiness. She imagines a nice quiet life filled with friends, family, and a career that leaves no room for relationship drama. Unfortunately, no one told the alluring Grayson Kinkaide.
After escaping a bad marriage of his own, Grayson realizes his soul mate is still out there and his heart is set on Sam. Their instant attraction begins a steamy affair, but the women of Grayson’s past aren’t ready to let him go. Can Grayson convince Sam that she is the only one for him?
“Designing Samantha’s Love” is a steamy romance that contains sexual content.
Once again, J.C. Valentine doesn’t disappoint.
This is a continuation of Felix and Poppy’s story from “Stranded.” Let me just say, I love Felix. He just “does it” for me.
Things are going pretty well for Felix and Poppy. They share a condo and home together and even work together. But when Felix cannot account to Poppy for some time when they aren’t together and the only answer he has is he’s working on “business stuff,” she begins to suspect he’s cheating on her. And, it DOES look pretty suspicious. After all, he did promise to tell her the truth in exchange for her trust.
Is Poppy going to have her heart broken again? Will Felix be able to account for his time away from Poppy?
You MUST read this book. I can’t recommend it enough. I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I loved this book. The main characters, Jon and Patti, have “baggage” from their past that continue to haunt them as they try to run from their troubles. Well, that’s all about to change. They’re going to have to face their past if they want to continue to move on with each other.
The story starts right out with Patti finding her boyfriend (Kyle) in their bed with another woman. There are some pretty funny references to his cheating and anatomy here that had me cracking up.
Jon has a secret in his past that prevents him from accepting happiness in his life, so he copes by having one-night stands, thereby keeping himself from committed relationships. Until he meets Patti. There’s just something about her.
Things get steamy and Jon soon realizes how much happiness Patti has brought to his life. Then a secret from Jon’s past is revealed and he doesn’t think Patti could accept him for who he is now. He is no longer the young and reckless man he was in his youth, but he pushes away because his guilt continues to haunt and punish him.
The relationship between Jon and his family is especially sweet. I loved them.
Great character development in this story and I was rooting for them to work things out.
Lots of humor, as well as tearful emotion, felt throughout. I found myself close to tears at several points and really felt a connection to these two.
I hope you’ll enjoy this book as much as I did.
Well, let me just tell you, I loved this book!
The one-night stand that Piper Donavan and Tate Larsen had in the ladies bathroom of a bar seemed a bit far-fetched at first, but the more I thought about it, I think these things happen more times than not. In any event, I wouldn’t do that in reality, but it sure was a sensual and daring read. I’m not gonna lie–it was very hot.
He doesn’t kiss his one-nightstands because it makes it too personal; however, this night he and Piper share a kiss, and now she’s under his skin and he can’t get her out of his mind.
Piper is starting a new job, and little did she know, her one-night-stand would be her new boss. He’s arrogant, short-tempered, and a complete ass. How is this ever going to work out? Especially since he fires her the first day on the job when he realizes who his new assistant is.
It’s a push and pull relationship for them both and watching the two of them come together and fight the odds is incredibly sexy and heartwarming.
I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. (:
I couldn’t stop reading “Stranded” once I started. This was a very good book.
Felix Sinclair and Poppy Montgomery find themselves more satisfied in a one-night stand than they had ever found in their previous marriages. The night they spend together is hot and steamy and leaves you wanting more.
This is a quick read and I enjoyed this very much. The story moves fast and keeps your attention.
Would love to know more about Felix and Poppy. Maybe more later?
